If you’ve got a great manuscript that you consider to be well-written, completely original and finished (as in, completely written and spell-checked), make sure it’s right for us by reviewing our specialties:

YA fiction
Children’s fiction
Graphic novels for youth audiences
Television, film and digital properties for youth audiences

Ready to send?
Please send us first a query letter and the first 30 pages of your manuscript. The query letter should introduce you, your writing background (it’s OK if you’ve never been published and this story is your first effort – we aren’t snobs!) and the basic gist of the story you have written. Please make sure that the first 30 pages that you send us are double-spaced and preferably in 12-point Courier and not an extra fancy or teensy tiny font. We prefer to receive manuscripts in PDF form, but Microsoft Word is OK, too.

It may take us up to 6 weeks to get back to you with a response, but we try to respond to everyone in detail.
